Merry Christmas! What a wonderful and busy season of the year! I love being able to spend time with family and friends. But also love to take the time to spend with our Savior! Having a 3 year old really makes me excited to see him learn the real meaning of Christmas. Yes, he is excited about presents, Santa, and the elf that lives in our house to watch him and report to Santa, but he will be quick to tell you that Christmas is Jesus' Birthday!!! Wow, that give me chills to know that he already knows the REAL reason for the season!

Here is a quick overview of the series that has been going on at our church. If you would like to check out the actual service, visit lifechurch.tv

.....he will be called

For to us a child is born to us a child is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Wonderful Counselor - knows us, understands us, and knows exactly what we are going through. Jesus has been through everything we have been through and experienced life just like we have. see Hebrews 4:14-16

Mighty God - NOTHING is too hard for God! see Jeremiah 32:17

Everlasting Father - God is compassionate. Psalm 103:8; God cares. Jeremiah 29:11; God is always there. Hebrews 13:5

Prince of Peace - Check out a service LIVE at lifechurch.tv on Saturday 12/22, 7pm; Sunday 12/23, 10am & 11:30am; Monday 12/24, 1:30pm, 3pm, & 6pm.

Sure this is a plug for lifechurch.tv but this is an amazing and powerful series! I hope that you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Enjoying the season....

DISNEY WORLD

We had the privelege of going to Disney World Nov. 1-7th. It was soooo much fun and so relaxing. I could have stayed another week or two or three. William LOVED it, he still talks about it a month later. He sees or hears something that triggers memory from the trip. That was our first family trip since William was born. I think we will do many more!

Click HERE for some pictures from our trip!
Hope you enjoy!

Swimming, Fireworks, School, and a Rash!!

I thought I would post an update! Our summer and fall have been busy with weddings and events. William is keeping us busy with school, little gym, and the daily things of an almost 3 year old. William turns 3 on Monday, the 24th. It is so hard to believe, time flies WAY too fast!!

We have also opened a new studio at Fontana (51st and Memorial). It has been busy with meeting since we opened 3 weeks ago. It is exciting to see what God has in store for us as we continue to prayerfully obey Him.

Here is some of what has been going on with us...

Earlier in the summer Mimi taught William how to swim....

We have been working on potty training. William has the peeing down but pooping - NO WAY! So we have tried almost every tactic available. Here is William getting to talk to Mater (Cars Movie) after he successfully pooped in the potty! (However, we have not acheived full potty training completion yet!) THANKS MATER!!!

First day of school! I love that the backpack is almost bigger than him!!

One day I got a phone call from school that William had a rash all over his body and I needed to come get him. I took him to the doctor and we went through everything and have no clue where it came from, it was an allergic reaction to something! GROSS!!

Well, that is all for now, if you are still reading!! Hopefully I can keep up a little better!
Love you all,

SUCCESS!!!!

Well the title says it all.... William is on his way to being potty trained. He went all day today with NO accidents in his "big boy underwear" or his pull-ups. We left the house today at 2:30 and he didn't go to the "potty" until 6pm and his pull up was DRY!!! We still have a long way to go and I don't completely trust him to tell me when he has to go but we are on the road to a diaper-free house. YEA!!! Oh and thanks to Mimi for all her hard work in this mission!!! :)
